The purpose of the federation is the promotion of the traditional martial art Shorinji Ryu consisting of Karate Do, Kobudo, Tai Chi as well as Chi Kung.
The intended purpose of its articles is realised especially through teaching and learning the martial art Shorinji Ryu, by carrying out sports events as well as the national and international exchange.
The federation pursues exclusively non profit purposes.
The federation does not act on its own behalf. It is a non profit making organisation.
